Sharon is an artist based near Viney Hill in the Forest of Dean and has an MA in fine Art: Glass.

She questions. “What would that look like if it was made from glass?”  and challenges herself to translate observation into vitreous transparency. Light passes through and bounces off glass revealing a magical honesty.

Since moving to the forest, she has become more aware of the effects humans have on the natural world and her latest works reflect this. Using inspiration found from the forest floor, she makes kiln formed glass using the lost wax technique process.
